HOBBYWING Unveils New Platinum 2603 / 2604 Motors for Precision F3P and Indoor 3D/4D Flight

HOBBYWING officially announces the release of the new Platinum 2603 and 2604 motors, which the company engineers specifically for precise, agile F3P 3D & 4D indoor competition flying and lightweight RC airplanes. Moreover, this series combines ample power, rapid response, and linear power delivery, making it the ideal choice for high-level indoor aerobatics.

Lightweight Design to Unlock Flight Potential

HOBBYWING designs the Platinum 2603 motor (available in 1480KV / 1800KV) to weigh under 18g, while the Platinum 2604 motor (1500KV / 1900KV) weighs under 21.5g. These motors suit F3P indoor competition aircraft weighing between 80g and 300g, as well as other lightweight RC planes with strict weight constraints. Consequently, this ultra-lightweight design enhances overall aircraft agility, allowing for more confident and composed execution of complex 3D & 4D maneuvers.

Potent and Efficient Power for Superior Aerobatic Performance

HOBBYWING equips the 2603/2604 series as high-performance F3P motors to offer over a 5% improvement in motor efficiency and maximum thrust in the mid-to-high load range compared to other brands’ equivalent specifications. In addition, this higher power output ensures ample performance headroom, eliminating power anxiety and providing a competitive edge in events.
When pilots pair these motors with the HOBBYWING Platinum 18A V5 F3P-specific ESC and either the UP8338 4D or TP8038 3D propeller, the motors deliver precise, smooth, and linear power output, constituting an ideal competition-grade power system.

Stable Operation with Efficient Heat Dissipation

HOBBYWING controls the rotor dynamic balance of the 2603/2604 F3P motors within 5mg to achieve excellent flight stability, significantly reducing operational vibration and resulting in an exceptionally smooth and stable flying experience. As a result, pilots can execute every aerobatic maneuver with precision.
Furthermore, HOBBYWING incorporates a large hollowed-out design in the rotor bracket and stator base of the Platinum 2603/2604 motors for weight reduction. This design ensures efficient and continuous heat dissipation during prolonged, aggressive flying sessions, maintaining the motor within its optimal operating temperature range.

Quick-Install Design for Multi-Model Compatibility

HOBBYWING features a rotor-integrated propeller installation structure in the Platinum 2603 / 2604 motors, simplifying the setup process and enabling rapid propeller changes. In addition, the mounting holes employ an oval design, compatible with both 4-φ2.1@D32 and D33 hole patterns, meeting the installation requirements of most mainstream F3P aerobatic aircraft on the market. Whether upgrading an existing setup or building a new airframe, these F3P motors offer exceptional adaptability and operational convenience.

Quality Craftsmanship and Premium Materials

HOBBYWING builds the 2603/2604 motors with first-tier brand components, including high-performance 0.2mm silicon steel sheets, 220°C high-temperature resistant enameled wire, and N52SH strong magnetic arc tiles. These materials ensure powerful torque and outstanding durability. Additionally, HOBBYWING uses multi-strand enameled wire winding to effectively increase the slot fill rate, further reducing the RC airplane motor’s operating temperature under equivalent power output. This meticulous attention to detail guarantees stable performance during high-intensity flight sessions.
